Self Sufficiency

Self Sufficiency

Tarpon Springs Shepherd Center seeks to help end the cycle of poverty and dependence by first responding to critical and basic needs, then providing advice, referrals, supplemental services and education as both one-on-one attention, through group meetings, discussions, and classes.

We nourish and strengthen the dignity of those in need by acknowledging, supporting, and by helping build on their own assets and potential as an individual. Through our case management services, we help those with basic, urgent needs while helping to direct them towards the ultimate goal of self-sufficiency.

If you need help, please contact our Community Enrichment Center at 727-939-1400 x 417/419.

Esther Project

The Esther Project is a mentoring initiative that partners local professional women with at-risk women experiencing crisis in their lives. The Esther Project’s mission is to provide wrap-around supportive social service benefits through a direct service mentoring program. Its ultimate goal is to move participants from crisis into self-sufficiency.

Please call 727-939-1400 x 417 for more information.
